Article With the boom of internet online scams and frauds has also boomed alot.There are many people out there who wants to earn big money doing nothing.So they scam innocent people through new ways to fulfill there dreams by shattering other people's dreams.Lets look at some top scams and frauds in the history of Internet 1- Auction or shopping scam You see many products selling at unbelievable price on many auction or shopping sites.You purchase it but never get it or dont get the product which was committed.The discription may be incomplete or completely fake.These type of scams are very common and many auctions sites are taking serious steps to control these scammers.

2-Nigerian 419 Letter Scam If you spend quite a good time onilne then you must have received a email of this kind where emailer says he belongs to the royal family or any African ministry or a member of a family with good wealth and he wants your help to get large sum of money out of the country.In return you will get huge commision usually around 25-30%.There may be many other reasons which the scamer can claims.All you have to do is just cover the legel and transaction fees which includes paying thousands of dollars in taxes,legal costs,or other advance fees.When you get attracted and pay them you never recieve anything.This is one of the oldest scam and there is a section named 419 in the nigerian penal code against this scam. 3-Phishing scam The credit to this scam really goes to all digital thieves.You recieve an email which looks like it came from your bank or financial institution,paypal etc.It ask that all accounts are under updation so you need to login and verify your account information.If you don't do it then your account will no longer remain active.Although the email looks completely legitmate with all logos and links but actually it is not.You will be taken to a fake website and as soon as you enter your account information there,you will create a serious financial threat. 4- Lottery scam You recieve an email which says you have won million dollars lottery.The details of the lottery are blah blah blah.To claim this big amount you need to pay some nominal transaction and legel fees.The moment you pay them,you get scamed because there is no lottery amount.Jus ask yourself did you ever participated in any lottery. 5-Congratulation scam you recieve an email normally around festive seasons that says you have won a gift normally an ipod,xbox,playstation etc through sweepstakes.To get this gift you need to pay a nominal shipping charge.You pay for it but never get the gift. 6-Make money fast scams(Pyramid scheme) You will find a lot of sites of these kind.You receive an email with some names on it and you are asked to send certain amount of money by mail to the person whose name is at the top.You will be asked to write your name at the bottom and forward this list to other people.It says the time when your name reaches at the top you would be making thousands of dollars.Most of the time the owner of this program will keep his name at the top all the time.
